My New Crush: Mr. Clean

While I tend to go for Mr. Unavailable, or Mr. Don’t Give a Rat’s Ass, I feel like my new crush may have some possibilities…

I had the absolute HONOR of meeting him this weekend, and let me tell you, he’s quite the charmer.

Our rendezvous: He was live and in person at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Butler Home Products. I was there, well, watching him celebrate.

In fact, behold him on site with an amazing cake from Charm City Cakes (of the FOOD Networks Ace of Cakes show).

What’s more delicious than the cake? Mr. Clean! I heart him.

This guy reminds me of the girls with super short hair on America’s Next Top Model. As soon as makeovers roll around, all they can do is bleach the eyebrows. 🙂

OMG! That guy looks just like the Mr. Clean on the bottle. I always thought he was just a character made up to sell the product. He is so buff!

Mr Clean has been around for many years. Is this the grandson of the original? I like the Ace of Cakes show.

  19. March 21, 2010 at 5:26 pm

Wow, What an honor. I didn’t even know there was an actual individual that represented the product. That’s pretty interesting info for me and I bet it was pretty interesting visit.

Bald men are sexy, to be sure. And the fact that he helps with household chores is definitely a plus in my book.

Mr. Clean is a very intuitive name. In Germany, where I’m from, this product is called “Meister Propper” – which means something like “Master Not-So-Skinny” =D

I love Charm City Cakes. They always make the most amazing cakes! Mr. Clean isn’t so bad either!

All of the cakes lately! So amazing! Make me feel inadequate when my cupcakes arrive and they don’t twirl and jiggle.
