Finding the perfect swim suit for your body

I’m not having the best body image day.

It happens, sometimes — I think more so to the fairer sex. But when it happens on the cusp of bathing suit season, it’s whole new ball of insecurity.

But the weather is heating up — Memorial Day is a few days away! – and we  are looking to find the perfect suit in order to look their best on the beach or by the pool.

So, while wading through the hottest trends to find the perfect fit, we consulted Marshalls and T.J.Maxx style experts and they gave us some great guidelines to go by, to fit our figures:

– Busty – To help keep everything in check up top choose underwire, double-strapped or wide-band styles in thicker fabrics

– Petite – Try adding bold prints and bright colors or opt for a suit with a plunging neckline to help give the impression of more curves

– Pear-Shaped – Color is a great way to help visually balance uneven proportions. Try pairing a bikini top with underwire or push-up support with boy shorts to create the illusion of a larger bust.

– Hour-Glass – Choose pieces that help accentuate your favorite features, styles with ruching will help flatten the tummy

So, what’s your “special need” when it comes to swim suits? I’ll try to find the answer!
