Last night: Brooklyn Winery Opening Party

Aside from hob-nobbing with our favorite neighborhood hipsters, my friends and I took advantage of the free photo booth at last night’s opening night event at Brooklyn Winery.

(Pictured with James of NYBarFly, Kristin of Designwhim, and Allie of Squid in the City.)

Event was fabulous — wine was delicious — my hair is A MESS OF EPIC PROPORTIONS. Please send help. Please. I can’t go on like this.

Anyway, enough about me (but aren’t those frizzy roots tragic?) – Brooklyn Winery is in Williamsburg, right off the Bedford Avenue L train.

It’s a pretty cool concept – a fully functional wine bar and event space—with the super fun added opportunity to MAKE OUR OWN WINE. I have always been wanting to do this.

Visitors will be able to do everything from grape crushing to hand bottling, or just hang out and drink wine other people made. (Which, honestly, I’m totally cool with too!)
