CES Followers: Check Out My Webcast With Citi Cards!

Hi all!

I’ve been a little behind the grain since Christmas — between that, and New Years, and the blizzard – life has been a storm cloud!

But I wanted to share an event coming up that you may be interested in.

As of now, I will not be flying out to Vegas for the CES conference this year, but I will be participating in a fun way!

I’ll be participating in a live webcast, moderated by Mack Collier, a collaboration with Tami McCarthy of TMG Brand Communications, sponsored by Citi Cards.

This webcast is largely to feature a discussion of the new Citi 2G card, which gives cardholders the choice to use either their reward points or their credit line toward their purchase by simply pressing a button on their credit card wherever a credit card is swiped at the register. How Brave New World is THAT?  Jeff Mullen, who is the CEO of Dynamics, Inc., will also be involved.

Here’s the panelists:

* Jay Baer, Social Media Strategist, soon-to-be author and all-around nice guy
* Carrie Coolidge, co-editor, Luxist.com
* Aly Walansky (that’d be ME!)
* Lauren Fairbanks, personal finance writer, AOL
* Greg Sandoval, senior writer, CNET
* Jeanine Skowronski, personal finance reporter,MainStreet.com

If you are attending CES, stop by  The Mirage, Room Trindad A, starting at 11:30 PST on the 6th. If you are watching from anywhere else in the world, you can still be involved! , Watch it online live, ask questions, and join the discussion by registering here.

    Hi Aly,

    I second Mack’s comment — we’re going to have fun bringing “what’s hot at CES” to those that can’t make it to Vegas, and are all looking forward to having you join our live interactive discussion. We agree, it is “Brave New World” and not only is credit card technology getting better and cooler, companies like Citi are giving their customers the ongoing opportunity to help shape what they want to see in their credit card now and in the future…personally, I love the lights and buttons on the Citi 2G card! 🙂

    -Tami McCarthy
